- Since “Stephanie” is too hard to pronounce, the girls have given me a new Khmer name: Soriya. Sounds like “sore-ree-ah”. And when you repeat it really quickly (as they’re apt to do) it sounds like “Arriba Arriba!”
- In name news, I learned almost all of their names have some literal meaning. Flower. Full Moon. November… November?
- Sang pop tunes with the girls today. Am embarrassed by the amount of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber I know.
- For the record, I did not teach them the expression “Bieber Fever.”
